Armed vehicles with rocket launchers and machine guns can make it very easy for you to win battles in the Phantom Liberty DLC for Cyberpunk 2077. On this page of the guide, you will find instructions on how to unlock the best starting armed vehicle, as well as how to properly use on-board weapons.

Autofixer terminal in Dogtown

1. The Dogtown district has, e.g. a stadium bazaar - you will visit this place for the first time shortly after starting the DLC.
2. One of the stores in the stadium is an Autofixer Terminal, which allows you to buy new machines, including vehicles with weapons.

Vehicles with on-board weapon icons

As you browse through the store's offerings, there may be icons for on-board weapons next to pictures of some vehicles like the one shown in the image:

1. Ammunition icon indicates that the vehicle is equipped with a machine gun.
2. Rocket icon indicates that the vehicle has a rocket launcher.

Some vehicles have only 1 type of on-board weapon, while others have both - you can switch between them.

1. All vehicles with weapons are initially blocked meaning you cannot buy them. Next to the padlock icon is a message about the need to complete gigs for Muamar.
2. For starters, you must complete the Push It to the Limit side quest received from Muamar "El Capitan" Reyes. This the first vehicle theft mission in Dogtown.
3. From then on, vehicle theft gigs may appear on the map at random times - they are marked with a steering wheel icon just like the one in the image. Try to do all of them. Fortunately, even if you fail or ignore a particular gig, another icon will appear on the Dogtown map after a while.

Best armored car for begginers

1. As a first purchase, we recommend the Hellhound armored vehicle available in the Other tab. It should become available after you pass a few car theft gigs.
2. The Hellhound has a machine gun and a projectile launch system. Its default price is 150,000 credits, but by doing gigs for El Capitan you can get discount coupons from crates. In our example, we paid just over 91,000 credits for the vehicle after discounts.

How to use the turret and rocket launcher?

1. The status of on-board weapons is displayed in the lower right corner of the screen. Once you use all your ammo, you must wait a few seconds to reload. However, you don't have to pay to refill ammo supplies.
2. If a vehicle has a turret and a launcher, you can switch between weapons - ALT key on keyboard.

1. The machine gun works best for attacking opponents who are not in vehicles.
2. The rocket launcher is ideal for dealing serous damage to other vehicles. If you destroy a vehicle that had enemies on board, they will die in the explosion.
