After reaching a certain stage of gameplay in Cyberpunk 2077, a Relic Malfunction message might appear on your screen from time to time. This happens more frequently just after completing a job. Apart from the notification, the screen image will also become distorted and your character won't be able to use all of their abilities. What to do about the Relic malfunction notification?

Unfortunately, there is no way to disable the message. You also cannot make the image distortion disappear any faster. All negative side effects of the damaged Relic cease after a few dozen seconds. What's important is that the damage has no effect on further gameplay - your character's stats will remain unchanged and they won't take any damage. In some cases, the image distortion won't automatically disappear. This is a bug in Cyberpunk 2077. If this happens to you, the best solution is to load the previous save - this should remove the image distortion.
