In Assassin's Creed Valhalla you can acquire gear not only on missions but also from special chests that contain interesting items. You can get a new weapon, shield or pieces of armor for free. However, some of the chests with gear are hidden inside buildings, tunnels, underground, or are locked. On this page of our guide, you will find out where the equipment boxes are located, in the Wincestre region.
Thegn’s Great Helm
You will find the helm in the building in the city center.
Let's begin with the fact that the box is in a room that you can only get to by knocking out a stained glass window. Then, climb up the wall and go inside.
To open the chest, you need three keys. One of them is located in the chapel, in the right wing; the other is on the tower, which you can reach through a gap in the wall; and the last is on the beams, under the ceiling.
Mentor's pants
You will find this box in the western part of the city.
To get to it, you have to destroy the lock – do it with a bow. All you have to do is shoot an arrow through a small slot in the back of the building.
Suttunger’s Claw
You will find this chest in the western part of town, at the synchronization point.
To get to it, you just have to swim to the bottom. On the way, remove any debris or rocks that may be disturbing you.
Thegn’s Cloak
The treasure map can be found in the Bishop's Residence.
Your task is to jump upstairs. There, you will find a map and a loaded shelf that needs to be moved.
When you move the shelf back you will see a hole in the wall. Thanks to it you will shoot through the lock in the door, so you can easily get to the cloak.
