The First Descendant

The First Descendant is a sci-fi looter shooter, distributed on a free-to-play model with micropayments. It was developed by Nexon, a South Korean company.

Plot

The First Descendant takes us on a journey to a fictional universe, more precisely - to the continent of Ingris, over which the specter of a deadly threat in the form of alien invaders hangs. We take on the role of the titular Descendants - heroes who represent humanity's last hope in the fight against the aggressors.

Game mechanics

In The First Descendant, we observe the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). The driving force of the game is the missions, which throw us into various corners of the Ingris continent - from futuristic cities, through dense forests to snowy mountain peaks. In carrying out the tasks entrusted to us, we are hindered by numerous opponents, with whom we fight dynamic clashes. On our way stands both the "cannon meat" appearing in wholesale quantities, as well as huge bosses - from monsters to huge mechs.

The production puts at our disposal a wide range of characters, which are differentiated in terms of preferred weaponry and combat skills. On the battlefield, the key to success is the right choice of weapons, skillful juggling of the abilities of the hero led into battle, as well as the use of various gadgets (such as a rope with a hook, which significantly increases our mobility). Cooperation with the other members of the team also plays an important role. As we progress, we gain better equipment and unlock more skills, which directly translates into our combat potential. In addition, the game allows us to personalize the appearance of the character.

Game modes

True, The First Descendant allows you to play solo, but the title spreads its wings only in co-op mode for up to 4 people.

The First Descendant features high-quality graphics. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5 technology.
