In Assassin's Creed Valhalla you can acquire gear not only on missions but also from special chests that contain interesting items. You can get a new weapon, shield or pieces of armor for free. However, some of the chests with gear are hidden inside buildings, tunnels, underground, or are locked. On this page of our guide, you will learn where you can find gear chests in the Jorvik region.
Fyrd Axe
You will find this chest in the southern part of Jorvik.
Enter the building, jump over the shelf, and then smash the wooden crates in the recess. They stand on a key you need.
Climb the wooden shelf. There you have to destroy planks that cover the passage to the small room. This is where you will find the chest.
Spinning-Death
You will find this chest in the southern part of Jorvik.
It is best if you climb the roof and start eliminating opponents from there. This is hostile territory, so you have to prepare yourself for battle. However, if you finish them off quietly you will avoid an open confrontation.
The chest is hidden in a separate room. The door to it is on the left. You don't need any key to get to the weapon.
Sagittarius Bow
You will find this bow in the northern part of Jorvik.
Reaching the weapon will require you to destroy many walls. It is good to come there with charged adrenaline and the Incendiary Powder Trap skill.
After destroying the first wall, you will reach a location where you will come across vases with explosive liquid. Take one and walk on all the ropes hanging in the area. You will reach another wall that you have to blow up.
Keep moving until you find another wall that has to be blown up. Let's start by moving the shelf, which obstructs the path to the passage blocked with the debris. Destroy the wall and you will get to the treasure.
When you enter the new room, you will immediately see the chest. It is not locked and there are no dangers waiting for you here.
Aella’s Bardiche
You will find this weapon in the southern part of the location.
To get to it you just need to blow up the rubble that is obstructing the passage.
Your next task is to destroy objects around the shelf and then move it. In this way, you will open the passage to the room with the weapon.
Hidden Ones’ Robes
You will find this armor in the western part of the city.
You have to destroy the boards of the floor to get to a locked room.
Your next task is to swim towards the land. Keep walking straight until you come across the wooden shelves.
Move them to get to the hole in the wall. Squeeze through and continue moving straight.
Eventually, you will reach a big hall, with a small room and a chest. You need a key to get there. It is on the shelf with documents.
