Welcome to the tropical island of Guarma! This section of the Red Dead Redemption 2 walkthrough contains a description of the mission Welcome to the New World. The survivor of the shipwreck, Arthur, is thrown ashore and embarks on a search for a gang.
How to unlock this mission: The mission will start automatically when chapter 5 begins.
Walkthrough: At the beginning of your mission, just go straight ahead. The screen will be blurred and a short walk in search of the survivors awaits you. After some time, you will reach Dutch and the rest - unfortunately, you will be captured by the guards.
You'll be handcuffed - continue going straight ahead to complete the optional Gold Medal task. After some time, you will be attacked and Arthur will get a weapon.
Assault and kill the guards. Try to aim at the heads as you have to try to get 10 headshots to get gold in this mission.
As it turns out, you will be saved by the local plantation workers. You get to a small vantage point - defend it from an attack by enemy forces. Again, try to get headshots. Once you've eliminated the threat, you'll complete the task and unlock a new "camp", which will be the starting point in this chapter of adventure.
How to win a gold medal in Welcome to the New World?
- Don't lag behind the rest of the captives - This is a simple task - once you've been chained, keep going ahead and stay close.
- Get 10 headshots - Just like in other RDR2 missions, you need accurate shots to the heads of enemies.
