The collection titled Relationship & Pregnancy Overhaul Collection deserves special attention because it includes as many as 19 different items. All of them are compatible with each other and also function independently. In practice, it means you don't have to use all the mods from the pack, just select the ones that sparked your curiosity.
The collection, as the name suggests, modifies and enriches the standard mechanics of interpersonal relationships and pregnancy. Describing each individual mode would be time-consuming and may not prove to be interesting. Pregnancy & Family Preferences
From now on, every Sim has the right to express their own opinion on matters concerning their offspring. It's possible to determine whether someone wants to have children or quite the opposite. We can also express our desire to have siblings and grandchildren. The new preferences also concern the child's gender, and even its name. The approach to a given issue can change, for instance, as a result of various life events.
Temporary Separations
Sometimes each of us needs time just for ourselves. This also applies to sims who are in relationships and living with their other half. Separation can be an effective method of healing wounds. If that also fails, a difficult decision to break up can be made.
Artificial Insemination & Surrogacy
Not every pregnancy has to be initiated naturally. This modification allows for the performance of in vitro fertilization. The novelties don't end there. Getting pregnant and carrying a child, which will be given to us after birth, can be assigned to another Sim. It is also possible to become a foster parent.
Adoption
Thanks to this mode, the option to give up your own children for adoption appears. To do this, you should reach out to an agency or directly handle the matter with a family members or friends who will take the child in. Another new requirement is to fulfill specific criteria in order to complete the adoption process through an institution. Sims may now choose to seek out and meet their biological parents, which is interesting.
