Platform 8 PC

Platform 8 is a first-person adventure game with horror elements, which is a prequel to The Exit 8. As before, we find ourselves in a seemingly endless space - this time it is a subway train car - in which we are forced to overlook an anomaly in order to continue the exploration. The title was developed by the authors of the first installment, independent studio Kotake Create.

The plot

We start the game in a moving carriage of a Japanese subway train, in which there is one seated passenger besides us. As before, the aim of the game is to find a way to stop the train at the title ?eighth platform. As we move between compartments, we notice anomalies that we must avoid in order to get out of the subway.

Mechanics

Identical to the previous exit from the seemingly endless location is hindered by constantly appearing anomalies that we cannot see. In case of failure, we do not move forward, and moving on only allows us to end up back where the game started.

Anomalies are everywhere and in different forms, and the tunnel-like nature of the space makes it difficult to avoid them, which is a challenge. When we manage to pass through them without them going unnoticed, the train stops and we reach exit number 8 familiar from the earlier title.
