Over a year after its official PC premiere, Darkest Dungeon II will also arrive on two generations of Sony consoles. The devs of this dark RPG announced today that their game will be released on July 15, 2024 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Pre-sales of the game are scheduled to begin soon in the PS Store (at the time of writing this message, it isn't yet available). If you are PS Plus subscribers, you can count on a discount when placing an order. The Oblivion bundle will also be available for purchase separately, and it includes The Binding Blade expansion in addition to the basic game. Let's remember that this DLC adds to the game two new heros, and a miniboss, among other things.

Of course, the game in the PS5 version will receive full support for the DualSense controller functions. We will experience the battles through adaptive triggers and haptic vibrations when our team is fighting against opponents.

Let's remind that in Darkest Dungeon II we embark on a journey to a mysterious mountain to try to save the world. It's likely unnecessary to mention that we can expect a multitude of adventures, challenges, and dangers during the journey, which not all team members may be able to cope with.

Red Hook Studio is currently working on a major update for Kingdoms II, which is intended to introduce a new story campaign mode. According to the devs' plan, it is supposed to reach players by the end of this year, but a specific date hasn't yet been revealed.
