After the third part, which had to get rolling, i.e. receive features and endgame content in updates and an add-on, Diablo 4 looks pretty solid already in the release version. The players finally got to return to the darker atmosphere known from the original and the excellent part two. However, there's no doubt that the base is just the foundation and the game-service will be developed in the future. Well, a patch introducing many significant changes has already been released. Thanks to this, chopping and slashing monsters is now even more enjoyable. Among the changes in the series, it's worth mentioning the increased emphasis on network functions – from now on, we see other players, although interaction with them is severely limited. This is still not an MMO and that's great.
Diablo 4 becomes much more appealing when you're playing it with friends. This can be done, among other things, as part of the local cooperation mode. It's limited to two people who share a screen. It's a pity that this option is only available on consoles. Finally, official support for controllers has been added on PCs as well. The lack of co-op is therefore a significant oversight on the part of Blizzard. Maybe something will change in this matter in the future.
