Do you have 90+% in Wuthering Waves and can’t get last percents to fill 100% of the region? The answer may be simple – you did not collect all chests, as some are not on the map.
Wuthering Waves encourage players to explore. There is even an organization called Pioneer Association in Jinzhou. Talk with Maqi and she will give you rewards for your discoveries. So, no wonder that many people want to discover everything. However, 100% exploration does not consist entirely of things to discover while you travel through the map… Let’s talk about it some more.

Let’s start with a general tip, which may be not so obvious for new players. When you open your map, there is a compass in the right bottom corner, next to the region name. If you click/tap on it, you will be able to view the list of regions and all things which you can gather in them. It is a nice tool to track your progress. In most cases, you need to look for:
- Resonance Beacon,
- Sonance Casket,
- Supply Chest,
- Blobfly,
- Viewpoint.
Sadly, you will not see precise numbers, but percentage. Nevertheless, it is quite useful. Remember though that 100% of the above does not equal 100% of exploration! Why? The reason is a little bit unintuitive.

Very often players manage to discover all there is on the map but still can’t reach 100% Exploration. Because of that many people start to believe that the system is a little bit buggy. However, there is a hidden trap here.
It seems that chests from quests and challenges also count towards exploration. Yes, that’s right. If you lack any percent in your progress, you have to do more missions and challenges. Some of them reward you with chests, and they are also part of the total number.
