MultiVersus is a popular 2D Fighter, which allows to play as one of the Warner Bros. characters. Sadly, the game is not in the best condition right now. It is clear when we look at the last reviews on Steam (the game received mixed reviews in the last 30 days). Some of the bad opinions are due to technical problems. One of the more popular ones is Network Error, which makes the game unplayable. In this guide we will tell you how to make the problem less annoying.

Network Error in MultiVersus Explained

As far as we know, there is no successful method to solve network error problem completely. It seems that the fault is at least partially on the side of the game and servers. Of course, you may try some traditional methods like:

  1. Resetting your internet connection/router.
  2. Making sure that you have a stable connection.
  3. Using a cable rather than wi-fi.
  4. Reinstalling the game.
  5. Whitelisting Multiversus on your antivirus’ lists.

If in your case the problem is on your side (at least partially), one of the above should help you.

How Fans Deal with Network Error in MultiVersus

Surprisingly, there is a simple solution which fans have found and many players confirm its effectiveness. It does not fix the problem altogether, however it makes it almost disappear, so it is close enough. All you have to do is to turn off crossplay. Not ideal solution, but it should let you play more or less without the pesky Network Error.
