Exploring the Night City in Cyberpunk 2077 will provide you with a huge number of items. Most of them will be a junk, which seems to be unnecessary. However, this is not true - even junk can be useful in the game. On this guide page, you will find out what to do with the junk.

What is junk for?

First of all, junk can be sold - but it is not worth much, so it is not a way to earn credits. It is much better to use junk to make them into crafting materials (components). All you have to do is choose the given junk and hold the disassemble button. The junk will disappear and your component resources will be increased. You can use the components for crafting - you can create new items or improve existing ones.

You can fully automate the disassembling of the junk with a perk Scrapper. It causes that the lifted junk is immediately disassembled into the components. You can find the perk in Technical Ability in the category Crafting.
