Judy Alvarez - who is she?

Judy Alvarez is a braindance editor, a person who specializes in manipulating braindance recordings in order to improve them or get information. She is one of the most important NPCs in Cyberpunk 2077.

Judy and V – the first meeting

At first, Judy will stay n the basement of Lizzie's Bar, located in the Kabuki district in Watson. You cannot enter this location during the free exploration of Night City. The first meeting with Judy (and subsequent meetings) happens during quests related to her.

The first main mission featuring Judy is The Information. During this quest, V will first meet with Evelyn Parker and then with Judy. She will assist V in the first two braindance sections.

Judy – how does the cooperation look like

Judy appears only in specific missions. Additionally, you can contact Judy by phone in-between the main missions - she is on the contact list. However, she will not always answer the call or reply to the message.

Judy stays at Lizzie's Bar throughout the entire act 1.

This changes in act 2. After you contact her during one of the main missions of the second act, Judy will accompany the V in some of the missions regarding Evelyn.

Judy can not only assist in the search and accompany V in exploration but also participate in the fights. Panam shouldn't cause you problems or be a hindrance during the fights. If you want to sneak during a mission, Judy will also stay hidden. If you open fire, Judy will support you in attacking enemies.

You don't have to protect Judy or worry about saving her. However, you can't give her any orders. She makes all actions autonomously.

Judy and V – can you romance?

Yes, there is an option to romance Judy – you will have to fulfill certain requirements. More details on romancing Judy on a separate page in the Romances chapter.
