Cyberpunk 2077 With 95% Positive Reviews on Steam in Last 30 Days. Devs Can’t Thank Players Enough
CD Projekt RED did a great job investing time and money in the development of Cyberpunk 2077. The reception of the Polish studio's efforts can be seen from the player reviews on Steam.
Probably every player remembers the disastrous premiere of Cyberpunk 2077. The game, which was associated with huge expectations, turned out to be far from what we hoped for at the moment of its release. Problems with optimization and a huge number of errors effectively took away the joy of exploring Night City. However, the devs at CD Projekt RED didn't give up and consistently, step by step, improved the state of their game. As a result, today it is almost a completely different title, and the players' opinions are overwhelmingly positive.
When opening the game tab on Steam, the review section from the last 30 days, which includes 6859 comments, of which 95% are positive opinions, immediately catches the eye. This is quite an achievement that was noticed by both players and CD Projekt RED representatives. One of the first to react to the mentioned results was Marcin Momot, Community Director at CDPR. The dev didn't hesitate to boast about the impressive result, while also thanking the community.
Recent Cyberpunk 2077 Steam reviews sitting at 95% and Overwhelmingly Positive. Thank you, thank you, thank you! -- we read in the published post.
The Lead Quest Designer in Cyberpunk 2077, Pawel Sasko, also commented. Here's what he wrote on X:
You can't imagine how much it means to me. I have never been close to giving up and always believed this could be somehow possible, but never thought I will actually see it. Thank you so much for the second chance chooms.
And although the bar has been set very high, there's no doubt that this result can still be improved. Especially since, in general, positive opinions constitute "only" 83% of all reviews (in July 2023 they were 80%). There is still much to be done by CD Projekt to improve the overall result. It's true that the development of the game itself has already been completed, but further minor or major improvements are still welcomed by fans.
Last month was also very good for Phantom Liberty. The expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 has only received 340 reviews during this time, but 91% of them are positive.
