In some tasks in Cyberpunk 2077, you will be able (and sometimes even have to) to send SMS. However, this won't be done from a phone from which you can make calls. Sending SMS is usually an optional activity, but it will give you more information about the mission. On this tutorial page we answer the question of how to send text messages.

How to send SMS?

As mentioned before, sending SMS can't be done from the phone menu. Instead, you need to turn on the main character menu and then choose Journal- this will make the Messages icon visible.

In the SMS window, you will see all received messages and conducted conversations. Not all messages can be answered. If this option is available, you will see a Reply caption next to it. It is not possible to enter your own message - you must use the ready text. After sending a reply, you should receive a response after a while.
